Gators Reveal the 2026 Spring Schedule

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Gators men’s tennis head coach Adam Steinberg announced their 2026 spring schedule on Monday afternoon. The season features 22 dual matches, including two double headers at home and two ITA events: the ITA Kickoff Weekend in New York, N.Y. and the ITA National Team Indoor Championships in either Dallas or Waco, Texas.

Florida’s season will open on the road to Boca Raton, Fla. on Jan. 9 and will see their first home match as a double header against Georgia Southern and USF on Jan. 17 at 11 a.m. EST and 4 p.m. EST. The Gators will then travel to New York, N.Y. for the ITA Kickoff Weekend (Jan. 23-24) before hosting in state rival FSU (Jan. 30) to close out January.

February brings about some more instate match ups at UCF (Feb. 1) and a double header against FGCU and UNF at home (Feb. 7). The Gators will finish the month travelling to either Waco, Texas or Dallas, Texas for the ITA National Team Indoor Championships from Feb. 13-17. From there, they will enter SEC play at Auburn (Feb. 21), at Georgia (Feb. 23) and at Kentucky (Feb. 27).

March features a string of five home matches, with four being against SEC opponents: South Carolina (Mar. 1), Texas A&M (Mar.6), TCU (Mar. 10), Ole Miss (Mar. 13) and Mississippi State (Mar. 15). Then the Florida heads back on the road for two matches against Alabama (Mar. 20) and Tennessee (Mar. 22).

The Gators will close out March and begin April with three home matches against Oklahoma (Mar. 29), Vanderbilt (Apr. 2) and LSU (Apr. 4). To end the regular season, the team will head back on the road to play at Texas (Apr. 10) and at Arkansas (Apr. 12) before heading to College Station, Texas for the SEC Tournament.  

Post season will begin in May, with NCAA First and Second Rounds happening the weekend of May 1-3.
