Georgia Men’s Cross Country Earns Four All-Region Performances

- The No. 20 Georgia men’s cross country team finished third at the 2025 NCAA South Regional with 77 points, which is the Bulldogs’ best finish since 2016.
- The Bulldogs also tallied four All-Region runners, which is also the most since the 2016 season.
- Will Aitken led the pack for Bulldogs again this meet, finishing eighth at 29:34.94, earning his first All-Region honor as a Bulldog and marking the best individual performance sine 2015.
- Conner Rutherford also earned his first career All-region honor with a 10th place finish and a personal-best of 29:42.29.
- Ryan Olree secured his second career All-Region honor, finishing in 16th place with a personal-best of 30:01.66.
- Matias Reynaga was the final All-Region runner for the Bulldogs in 18th place at 30:06.35.
- The Lady Bulldogs finished in 11th place with 372 points.
- Izzy Yonas and Anastasia Nilsson both led the pack for the Lady Bulldogs again this season. Yonas finished in 28th place with a personal-best of 20:12.09 and Nilsson in 39th, crossing the line at 20:24.00.
Next, the Georgia men will find out if they will be one of 13 at-large teams selected to qualify chosen through a national selection process by the NCAA DI Cross Country Subcommittee. The NCAA Selection Show is set for Sat., Nov. 15 at 5 p.m. ET on NCAA.com, which will determine whether Georgia will be competing at the 2025 NCAA Cross Country Championships hosted by Missouri on Sat., Nov. 22.
