FSU Volleyball Announces the Signing of Bennett Raterman
TALLAHASSEE – Florida State volleyball and Head Coach Chris Poole announced the signing of Bennett Raterman on Wednesday morning.
A 6-3 middle blocker out of St. Louis, Mo., Raterman hopes to add to the legacy of successful middle blockers under Coach Poole. Raterman played for St. Pius X High School and helped them to a Class 4 State Championship. Raterman was also a three-time all-state and all-district honoree. Nationally, Raterman is a three-time Under Armor All-American and was named to the AVCA All-American Watchlist. Raterman was also a member of the USA National Team Development Program.
Off the court, Raterman was a three-time academic all-state honoree and was a member of the National Honors Society. She plans on managing in sports broadcasting upon her arrival to Florida State. Raterman is the daughter of Jason and Kelli Baterman.
