PARIS, France – Coming off a career-best season Ben Shelton, has made his way to the quarterfinals for the Rolex Paris Masters and qualified for the Nitto ATP Finals for the first time in his career.

Shelton joins ATP No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz, No. 2 Jannik Sinner, No. 3 Alexander Zverev, No. 4 Taylor Fritz and No. 5 Novak Djokovic in the Nitto ATP Finals, securing the sixth spot of the competition.

The Rolex Paris Masters is Shelton’s second ATP Masters 1000 competition since his injury at the US Open. Shelton entered the tournament with a first round bye, setting him up to face ATP No. 23 Flavio Cobolli in the round of 32. Shelton defeated Cobolli in two sets to take on No. 17 Andrey Rublev in the round of 16. Shelton defeated Rublev in straight sets to advance to the competition’s quarterfinals.

Shelton will face Sinner in the quarterfinals for the seventh time and the third time this year. Shelton fell to Sinner in both Wimbledon and the Australian Open this year, but has a single win over the No. 2 player in the world in their first matchup in 2023 at the ATP Masters 1000 Shanghai. The two will play after 2 p.m. EST on Oct. 31, 2025.
