ALPHARETTA, Ga. – The No. 22 Florida State closed out the fall season on Sunday at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate Invitational. The Seminoles shot 1-under, 287 in the third round and finished the weekend 1-under, 863 for seventh place.
 
The Seminoles finished ahead No. 15 Utah (+7) and No. 25 UCLA (+6), in addition to RV Stanford (Even), RV Washington (+5) and RV Clemson (+23)
 
Andrew McLauchlan had a team-best round of the weekend, opening with four birdies on the front nine. He finished the day shooting 3-under, 69, climbing the leaderboard to tie for 14th place at 2-under, 214, finishing in the top 20 for the second straight tournament.
 
Tyler Weaver added a round of 73 and followed McLauchlan tied for 18^th,  finishing 1-under, 215.
 
Jack Bigham also played his best round of the tournament, finishing strong with five birdies on the back nine. He carded 1-under, 71 on the day and was 2-over, 218 for the tournament, tying for 32nd.
 
Jack Whaley followed, finishing tied for 35th place after shooting 74 on Sunday. He shot 3-over, 219.
 
Competing individually, Carson Brewer added his best round, finish even, 72. He was 6-over, 222 for the weekend, tying for 41st.
 
The Seminoles will be back in action in Feb. 16-18, hosting the Watersound Invitational in Panama City, Florida at the Third Course.
