Noles Head to Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate to Close Out Fall Season

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida State men’s golf team will compete in the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate Invitational in Alpharetta, Georgia from Oct. 24-26 to close the fall season.
 
The No. 22 Seminoles are one of 14 teams set to take on the Lakeside Course and are one of six ranked teams in the field. Five other teams also received votes in the Golf Coaches Association of America poll on Oct. 10.
 
Beginning in 2006, the Seminoles have made nine appearances in the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate, producing its best finish in 2015 behind a fourth-place finish.  FSU last participated in the tournament in 2018, finishing 11th.
 
Wilmer Edero will start at 9:55 a.m. from the first tee, followed by Andrew McLauchlan at 10:06 a.m., Jack Bigham and 10:17 a.m., Jack Whaley at 10:28 a.m. and Tyler Weaver at 10:39 a.m.  The Seminoles will be paired with Georgia Tech and Utah for the first round.
 
Carson Brewer will compete individually, starting his round at 9:53 a.m. from the 10th tee.
 
Live scoring will run through Clippd.
