Post-Match Quotes
Georgia Head Coach Keidane McAlpine
On tonight’s match…
“First of all, credit to Auburn. I thought they played well. They played like a team. We really needed the game. We really wanted the game to continue our season and to move forward. I thought for large parts of it, we played pretty well, especially at the beginning of the game. They made some changes. We had a hard time dealing with them. But it’s more frustration. We had an opportunity tonight to do something really special. Put ourselves in the lead with an opportunity to control our own destiny when it comes to winning the league. But that didn’t work out. So, now we’ve got to figure out how to rebound and really get after this last game to make sure we stay in that top four position to carry ourselves to the (SEC Tournament.)”
