GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Former Gators stuffed the stat sheet in Week 6, reaching career milestones and leading their teams on the field. 

Each week of the 2025-26 season, FloridaGators.com will cover all of the best moments from the NFL stars who made a name for themselves in Gainesville.

Offense

Van Jefferson – WR – Tennessee Titans
Jefferson showed out Sunday for his new team. The fifth-year NFL journeyman totaled four catches for a team-leading 75 yards.

 
Demarcus Robinson – WR – San Francisco 49ers
Need to move the chains, call Robinson. After a concentration on his first target in the game, the 49ers went back to the well, targeting Robinson in two of their next three plays. The nine-year NFL vet caught both for 31 and 13 yards, respectively, to set up a San Francisco field goal before the half.


Defense

Gervon Dexter SR. – DL – Chicago Bears
Prime time Dexter Sr. is back. The third-year nose tackle cleaned up last night, tallying five tackles, two pressures and 1.5 sacks in the Monday Night Football win.

 
Shemar James – LB – Dallas Cowboys
For the second week in a row, rookie linebacker Shemar James tabbed a team-leading double-digit tackles. In three games this season, James has racked up 31 total tackles, while taking over the Cowboys’ weak side linebacker spot due to injuries. James’ 84.2 tackle grade ranks third among all rookies per PFF.

 

Special Teams

Eddy Piñeiro – K – San Francisco 49ers
Perfect Piñeiro! Eddy Piñeiro remains perfect on the season, making all four of his field goal attempts and an extra point to keep the 49ers in the game Sunday. He has started the season 15 of 15 for the 49ers, the longest such streak for San Francisco since Robbie Gold in 2017.

 
Evan McPherson – K – Cincinnati Bengals
Milestone Mac. The Bengals kicker notched the 100th made field goal of his career Sunday, punching in a 45-yard boot. McPherson became the fifth-fastest kicker in Bengals history to reach 100 field goals.

He also had a shot at history, drilling what would’ve been the longest field goal in NFL history (67 yards). Unfortunately for McPherson, the Packers called a timeout moments before the ball was snapped, nullifying his NFL record bid.
