COLUMBIA, S.C. – The University of Georgia volleyball team beat the South Carolina Gamecocks on Sunday afternoon in four sets, 3-1 (25-21, 12-25, 25-21, 25-22) at the Carolina Volleyball Center.
 
Georgia is now 9-5 on the season and 1-3 in SEC play.
 
Fast Facts

  • Senior Adriana Rhoda led the team with 12 kills in the match, her second-straight double-digit kill performance. She added six blocks on defense, tying a career high.
  • Sophomore MK Patten registered 11 kills, her fifth double-figure kill match of the season.
  • The Bulldogs tallied 13 blocks as a team. It was Georgia’s 10th match recording 10 or more blocks this season. Redshirt-junior Kendal Kemp led the block defense with eight blocks. Kemp added four kills, hitting .429 in the contest.
  • Redshirt-sophomore Makena Lim put up 10 digs to lead the back line.
