GAINESVILLE, Fla. – There will again be University of Florida representation on the U.S. World Gymnastics Championships roster. Both rising sophomore Skye Blakely and Gator graduate Leanne Wong were among the four named to represent the U.S. at the 2025 Artistic World Championships in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The World Championships are set for October 19-25 and features only individual competition, which is traditional in the year following an Olympic year. Both Gators already are World Championships medalists. Both were part of the U.S.’s 2022 and 2023 World Championships gold medal teams. Wong won all-around silver and floor exercise bronze at the last individual World Championships in 2021.

Dulcy Caylor won Tuesday’s all-around competition to earn the automatic berth on the U.S. roster. On Wednesday, the gymnasts could compete in up to two events and the team was revealed following that competition. Blakely, Wong and Joscelyn Roberson were named to roster by the Athlete Selection Committee.
