TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama swimming and diving team swept Delta State in its season opener on Friday as the women topped the Lady Statesmen 242-39 and the men won 230-64.

The Crimson Tide dominated the competition, securing victories in all 32 events. 

Cadence Vincent and Tim Korstanje highlighted the Tide in the victory as both swimmers won a pair of individual events and were members of both relays. Additionally, Emily Jones, Jada Scott and Lance Johnson won two individual titles and a relay event, while Gaby Van Brunt competed in both relays and won an individual event.
