Key Quotes
Georgia head coach Meghan Boenig
On three out of four MOPs being freshmen…
“Always excited. When you see those guys putting big scores out, opening meets, having that pride. They came out with such big confidence and swagger. It bodes wonderful things for the future. I think even overall watching this Red & Black [Scrimmage] compared to years past, there were so many things to celebrate. We have so many good things to build to. We’ll have a quick turnaround with hosting Baylor in two weeks, so we’re going to put those to good use. I think it is also a big test with the heat today. What was the attitude going to be? What was the work ethic going to be? And they continue to rise to that occasion. A lot of good take homes from today.”
Junior Liza Cram
On her Fences MOP today…
“I rode Carino, who’s really awesome. He’s really fun, really talented. For me, I was able to focus on myself, and everything worked out as I planned. I haven’t really jumped [Carino] this year, so that was fun to go into a real meet. I felt prepared from all my practices. It went well.”
