SERIES HISTORY VS. NC STATE
Florida State is 19-3-3 all-time against NC State, with an 11-0-2 record at home and an 8-3-1 mark on the road. The two teams last met in 2023, a 5-0 FSU win in Tallahassee that was the first matchup between the two sides since 2018. The Seminoles are unbeaten in the last 21 games since 1999, with just three draws, 2-2 in 1999, 0-0 in 2000 and 1-1 in 2018.

Two years ago at the Seminole Soccer Complex, on October 26, 2023, Florida State posted a 5-0 win. A goal in the 44th minute got the scoring started, and it was 2-0 in the 49th minute and 3-0 less than a minute later. Four minutes passed before it was 4-0, in the 54th minute, and a 68th-minute score capped the scoring. Then-senior Lauren Flynn netted a hat trick in the victory.

SCOUTING THE WOLFPACK
NC State is 2-6-2 on the season and 1-1-0 in the ACC. The Wolfpack are 1-3-0 at home, 1-3-2 on the road and 0-2-0 against top-25 foes. The team is coming off a 1-0 win at SMU on Thursday night following a 2-1 loss at home to No. 6 Notre Dame on September 11. NC State is unbeaten in three of its last four games, with a goalless draw at Elon and a 4-0 win over Campbell coming prior to the ACC-opening loss to ND. In the September 18 win at SMU, a 50th-minute goal was the difference, as the Wolfpack were out-shot 13-10 but made five saves for the clean sheet.

Jade Bordeleau leads the team with four goals, nine points, 37 shots and 11 shots on goal. Mary Frances Symmes is second with two goals and five points. In goal, Olivia Pratapas has played eight games with 25 saves and 10 goals allowed for a .715 save percentage and a 1.37 goals-against average in more than 650 minutes.

LAST TIME OUT: TOP-25 RIVALRY WIN IN CHAPEL HILL
In the top-25 matchup between the last two national champions, Florida State beat No. 18 North Carolina 1-0 on Wednesday night in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Dudley scored the game-winning goal on a header in the 59th minute.

The Tar Heels suffered their first home loss in six contests and saw their six-game win streak come to an end as they were held goalless for the third time in 2025. FSU had 13 shots, six on goal, and UNC registered 10 shots, three on target, both the second-most by a Florida State opponent this year. Each team earned seven corner kicks and nine fouls were called against the home side and eight against the visitors. A total of 21 Seminoles appeared in the match, with 16 seeing at least 29 minutes on the field.

Todd stopped all three shots she faced and her UNC counterpart stopped five shots.

In the all-time series, FSU picked up its 15th win against UNC, the most of any program in the country and now more than double the next most by a Carolina opponent. While the Seminoles are 15-31-6 all-time against the Tar Heels, Florida State is 13-7-4 since 2011. The Garnet and Gold are unbeaten in five of the last six meetings and have won three in a row in the rivalry.
