FLUSHING MEADOWS, N.Y. – Former Alabama women’s tennis standout Erin Routliffe and doubles partner Gaby Dabrowski defeated top-seeded Katerina Siniakova and Taylor Townsend in straight sets (6-4, 6-4) to claim the 2025 US Open title.

The victory marks the pairings’ second US Open doubles title after previously winning in 2023, while Routliffe picked up her 12^th career doubles title.

Journey to the Title

• After earning their way to the quarterfinals, Routliffe and Dabrowski defeated 11^th-seeded Timea Babos and Luisa Steani (0-6, 6-4, 6-4)
• The pairs’ momentum continued as they beat second-seeded Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini in two sets to advance to the finals (6-4. 6-3)
• Routliffe and Dabrowski jumped out to a 4-2 lead in set one of the final before saving two break points en route to claiming set one, 6-4
• After taking a quick 3-0 lead in the second set, the Canadian-Kiwi duo battled from being tied at 4-4 to winning the match on a groundstroke (6-4, 6-4)
