Bulldogs Finish Seventh at the Carmel Cup
FAST FACTS
- The Carmel Cup was a six-count-five 54-hole stroke play tournament. Georgia finished in seventh place after shooting 7-over in the first round, 1-over in round two and finishing at even par in round three. No. 12 Vanderbilt won the tournament at 17-under. No. 1 Oklahoma State (-14) finished second, following by Arkansas and No. 8 Oklahoma (-3) tying for third. TCU finished fifth at 7-over and No. 15 Texas Tech sixth. Mississippi State ended in eighth.
- Freshman JD Culbreth led the Bulldogs in round three, shooting 4-under. He ended sixth on the leaderboard at 6-under. His final round featured five birdies.
- Sophomore Sungyeop Cho also shot 4-under in round three, finishing 1-under for the tournament an in 15th overall.
- Senior Carter Loflin shot 3-under in the third round, finishing in ninth at 5-under for the tournament.
- Junior Grayson Wood had his best round of the tournament on Sunday, shooting 3-over to finish 15-over for the tournament.
- Sophomore Matt Moloney shot 8-over in the third round, finishing at 11-over.
- Sophomore James Earle shot 10-over and finished the tournament at 17-over.
