57 Bulldogs Make NFL Rosters For 2025 Season
The 57 Bulldogs are on 24 different teams, and the total number of players increased by 11 from last season. Georgia’s tally is the third highest amongst all college football programs, trailing only Ohio State (61) and Alabama (63).
Eight former Bulldogs will open the NFL season on Thursday, September 4, as the Philadelphia Eagles will face the Dallas Cowboys. Seven former defensive players, including second team all-pro Jalen Carter and 2024 NFL playoffs sack leader Nolan Smith Jr. will represent the Eagles, while wide receiver George Pickens will be the lone Georgia representative for the Cowboys.
Former Bulldogs will look to extend the program’s streak of consecutive years with an alumni in the Super Bowl, as at least one Georgia alumni has appeared in the last 24 Super Bowls, which is tied for the longest active streak in college football. Last season saw Nakobe Dean, Jordan Davis, Nolan Smith Jr., Kelee Ringo, Jalen Carter, and Lewis Cine win Super Bowl LIX with the Eagles. The group helped Georgia captured the 2021 national championship.
Aside from on the field success, Georgia continues to set the standard in NFL talent production, with 62 players drafted since 2020, which leads all of college football in that span. Most recently, Georgia had 13 players selected in the 2025 NFL Draft, which was second amongst all college football programs, trailing only Ohio State (14).
A list of all former Bulldogs on NFL rosters, as well as the rules and guidelines for practice squad participants, is compiled below.
