We received information from the USCG that Soule Construction, a Pensacola based contractor will be at Marler Bridge as early as this week. They will be removing and replacing the fender system. They do not plan to completely obstruct the channel during these operations but there will be times when the channel will need to be closed for safety.  The contractor will be coordinating directly with the USCG to ensure safety around the bridge during these operations. There will also be a notice to mariners posted for the duration of the project.
