Brennan Announces 2025-26 Women’s Golf Schedule

ATHENS, Ga. — The Georgia women’s golf team is set to compete in four fall and five spring competitions during the 2025-26 season, second year head coach Erika Brennan announced Monday. The schedule includes three familiar tournaments to the program, along with five new events for the Bulldogs.

“We’re looking forward to a challenging schedule that will give us opportunities for high level competition week after week,” Brennan said. “We are equally excited to add some new events this season! It’s going to be a fun year ahead and we are pumped to get started.”

For the fifth straight year, the Bulldogs will kick off the fall slate in the Cougar Classic at Yeamans Hall Club in Charleston, S.C., on September 8-9. To wrap up September, Georgia will make their first appearance since 2013-14 in the Schooner Fall Classic on September 20-22, at Belmar Golf Club in Norman, Okla.

In the second half of the fall schedule, the Bulldogs will travel to Virginia Beach, VA. to compete in the Evie Odom Invitational on October 16-18, at Princess Anne Country Club. Georgia will head to Huntsville, Ala. to wrap up the fall  on October 31-November 1, to make their debut at The Robbie at Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Hampton Cove Highlands.

The Bulldogs will open the spring on February 2-4 at the FAU Paradise Invitational in Boca Raton, Fla. at Osprey Point Golf Course. Georgia will wrap up February by traveling to Peoria, Ariz. to compete in the Westbrook Invitational at Westbrook Village Golf Club. Kicking off March, the team will head to the Lowcountry of South Carolina to compete in the Darius Rucker Invitational at Long Cove Golf Club in Hilton Head Island on March 2-4.

 

To continue the spring season, Georgia will make their first appearance in the Briars Creek Invitational in Kiawah Island, S.C., hosted at The Golf Club at Briars Creek on March 16-17. On March 28-30, the Bulldogs will wrap up the regular season by hosting the 53rd annual Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic at the UGA Golf Course.

 

For the third straight season, the SEC Championships will be hosted at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Fla., taking place April 17-21. The NCAA Regionals are set to be hosted in Ann Arbor, Mich., Chapel Hill, N.C., Huntsville, Ala., Stanford, Cal., Tallahassee, Fla., and Waco, Tex. on May 11-13. On May 22-27, the NCAA National Champions will be contested at The Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Cal., the third straight year the site has hosted the championships

 

In preparation to embark on their 2025-26 campaign, the Bulldogs welcome back two familiar faces in juniors Celine Brovold Sanne and Morgan Smith, as well as seven new faces to the program, two freshmen and five transfers. From 2021-23, Georgia competed in three-straight NCAA Championships, highlighted by a match-play appearance and a share of fifth place in 2022. The Bulldogs boast 25 NCAA Championship appearances in team history, including a national title in 2001.
