Jam Miller Added to Doak Walker Award Watch List
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama football’s Jam Miller was named to the 2025 Doak Walker Award Watch List, the PwC SMU Athletic Forum announced Tuesday.
The senior is part of a group of 88 running backs from around the country named to the preseason list. The PwC SMU Athletic Forum Board of Directors will name 10 semifinalists in November, and three finalists, as voted on by the Doak Walker Award National Selection Committee, will also be announced in November. The committee will cast a second vote in December to determine the recipient. The recipient of the 2025 Doak Walker Award will be announced live on The Home Depot College Football Awards on Dec. 12.
Miller will look to become the Crimson Tide’s fourth recipient of the Doak Walker, joining 2020 winner Najee Harris, along with Derrick Henry (2015) and UA’s initial winner, Trent Richardson (2011).
