Bulldogs Compete at World Aquatics Championships
SINGAPORE – Three members of the University of Georgia men’s swimming and diving team competed at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships at the World Aquatics Championships Arena.
Monday, July 28
Rising junior Tomas Koski placed 20th for Finland in the men’s 200-meter freestyle prelims with a time of 1:47.34. Koski is slated to compete Wednesday in the 100m freestyle.
The World Championships continue Tuesday with graduate Luca Urlando (USA) competing in the 200m butterfly and redshirt junior Kristian Pitshugin (Israel) competing in the 50m breaststroke. Reigning American champion Urlando holds the top seed time of 1:52.37, while Pitshugin ranks 17th entering the event.
