TALLAHASSEE – All-American Lottie Woad headlines a group of four Florida State Women’s golfers – Woad, Sophia Fullbrook, Alexandra Gazzoli, and Kaylah Williams – who have been named to the 2025 All-American Scholar Team by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association. It marks the third consecutive season Woad has been named to the prestigious academic achievement team by the WGCA. For Williams, who earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Florida State University in May of 2025, it’s the school-record tying fourth consecutive time during her career that she has been named a WGCA Scholar Athlete.

It marks the sixth consecutive year, and eighth time in the last nine years, that at least three Seminoles have been named scholar All-Americans by the WGCA. Florida State’s four selections marks the 12th consecutive year at least one Seminole golfer has been named as a national academic standout.

Woad is the ninth player in school history to be named to the WGCA All-American School team at last three consecutive years.

Woad, a sport management major, holds a 3.79 career grade point average through the first three years of her career. In addition to being named to the WGCA Scholar Athlete team three times, she has been named to the 2023 and 2024 All-ACC Academic Women’s Team, to the 2023 and 2024 ACC Academic Honor Roll, and to the 2024 and 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District teams. Woad has been named to the Florida State Academic President’s List once and to the FSU Academic Dean’s List four times.

Williams joins Whitney Brummett (2005, 06, 07, 08), Amanda Doherty (2017, 18, 19, 20), Alice Hodge (2021, 22, 23, 24), Kim Metraux (2015, 16, 17, 18), and Morgane Metraux (2015, 16, 17, 18) as the only players in school history who have been named to the WGCA Scholar-Athlete team four times during careers as Seminoles.

Williams earned a 3.75 grade point average during her academic career as a Seminole. She has been named to the WGCA Scholar Athlete team four times. During her eight semesters as a standout student-athlete at Florida State, Williams earned FSU Academic President’s List Honors once and FSU Academic Dean’s List seven times.

Fullbrook (3.953, exploratory) and Gazzoli (4.00, exploratory) – both freshmen members of the Seminoles’ women’s golf team – were named to the WGCA Scholar Team for the first time in their careers. Fullbrook was named to the FSU Academic President’s List in both of her first two semesters while Gazzoli was named to the FSU Academic President’s List in the spring of 2025.

Under Head Coach Amy Bond, the winningest coach in school history with 27 victories, a total of 20 different Seminole golfers have been named to the WGCA Scholar Team 39 times.

Bond was named to the WCGA All-America Scholar Athlete Team in 1998.
