NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING – RE: ITB 25-16, CR 1883 IMPROVEMENTS PHASE 1

A public meeting will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Monday, June 30, 2025, at the Office of Central Purchasing, 176 Montgomery Circle, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435. Teleconference participation is available by dialing 850-635-0655 EXT. 261217.

The purpose of this meeting is to publicly open and read aloud all bids received in response to ITB 25-16 – CR 1883 Improvements Phase 1. Bids must be submitted electronically via the County’s e-Procurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/waltoncountyfl/projects/166878 prior to the closing deadline of 3:00 P.M. on June 30, 2025.

The CR 1883 Improvements Phase 1 Project consists of resurfacing approximately 4.92 miles of roadway from the intersection of SR 83 to CR 183B. Scope includes milling and resurfacing, signing and pavement marking upgrades, and minor drainage improvements. This project is funded in part through a Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) grant and is subject to all terms and conditions of Grant Award Agreement No. G2M73.

In accordance with Section 286.26, Florida Statutes, any person requiring special accommodations to participate in this meeting is asked to contact the Office of Central Purchasing at least 48 hours in advance so that arrangements can be made.

In accordance with Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, all persons are advised that, if a person decides to appeal any decision made by the board, agency, or commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
