    • The Gators hold a 47-32 all-time record over Georgia and a 20-18 record against the Bulldogs at home
    • Florida did not face Georgia in the regular season

  • This weekend will mark Florida’s 16th NCAA Super Regional appearance. The Gators are seeking the program’s 13th berth to the Women’s College World Series and the program’s third appearance in the last four seasons
  • For the first time in program history, six different Gators have hit double-digit home runs in the same season: Taylor Shumaker (21), Mia Williams (19), Jocelyn Erickson (15), Reagan Walsh (13), Kenleigh Cahalan (10) and Ava Brown (10)
  • If sophomore Mia Williams hits one more home run this season, her and Taylor Shumaker will be just the second pair of Gators to each hit 20 home runs in the same season

    •  Brittany Schutte (22) and Megan Bush (21) did it in 2011

  • With 21 home runs, Shumaker is a home run shy of tying the Florida single-season record held by Brittany Schutte (22) in 2011

  • On Tuesday, senior Kendra Falby was named the Softball America Defender of the Year and First Team All-American. Shumaker was named the Softball America Freshman of the Year, Second Team All-American & All-Freshman

    • She is the second straight Gator – Keagan Rothrock in 2024 – and the fourth overall (Kelly Barnhill & Amanda Lorenz in 2016) to reach the top three for the prestigious award
    • Lorenz won the award in 2016
