Alabama to Open Play at 2025 SEC Softball Tournament Tuesday vs. Auburn
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama softball enters the 2025 SEC Softball Tournament as the No. 10 seed and will open play on Tuesday, May 6 vs. No. 15 seed Auburn on the SEC Network 35 minutes after the conclusion of the preceding Ole Miss vs. Missouri game.
Alabama owns a 46-29 (.613) all-time record in the SEC Tournament, including a 42-26 (.618) mark under Head Coach Patrick Murphy. The Crimson Tide has won six tournament titles, doing so in 1998, 2003, 2005, 2010, 2012 and 2021. Alabama is 6-3 all-time vs. Auburn at the SEC Tournament, last meeting at the conference tournament on May 9, 2018 in Columbia, Mo., a 6-4 Tide victory.
The winner of Tuesday’s game will advance to play No. 7 seed South Carolina on Wednesday, May 7 approximately 35 minutes following the conclusion of the 4 p.m. CT game between Florida and either Ole Miss or Missouri.
