The 2022 Junior World Champion joins the Gators for the 2025-26 season.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida diving welcomes the 2022 Worlds Junior Champion Alexa Fung to the women’s swimming and diving 2025-26 roster.

“Alexa is an excellent late addition to an already really strong team for next season,” said Florida Head Diving Coach Bryan Gillooly. “She brings a lot of great national and international experience and has been very successful at the highest levels. She is the total package and exactly the type of student athlete we are always looking for at Florida. She’s a perfect fit for our program. Excellent athlete, outstanding student and great character.”

The Gators’ signing class for 2025 now totals 15, with Fung becoming the sixth newcomer to join Florida since the program announced its initial signees last November. At that time, five female swimmers, two male swimmers, and two divers committed to the 2025-26 season. Since then, Maria Fernanda Garcia Sixtos, Nil Cadevall, Alex Cohoon, and Charlie Hustison have also pledged to join the Gators in August.
