GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The No. 7 Florida women’s golf team opened the Gators Invitational by shooting the lowest team round (271) in program history as sophomore Siuue Wu tied for the second-lowest round (65) all-time on Friday at Mark Bostick Golf Course.

The team round of 9-under 271 reset the program best by two strokes (273), which Florida set in the season opening round of the Cougar Classic. UF owns a four-shot lead over Virginia and will tee of round two tomorrow at 8:30 a.m.
