Georgia Hosts Alabama Friday, Travels to Face Mississippi State Sunday

ATHENS, Ga. — The No. 8 Georgia men’s tennis team will host Alabama on Friday at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex at 5:30 p.m., before traveling to Starkville to face No. 5 Mississippi State on Sunday, March 8 at 2 p.m. ET.

LAST TIME OUT

Georgia had its first road trip of conference play last weekend as the team traveled to Texas to face Texas A&M and Texas. After falling behind 2-0, the Bulldogs came back to beat the Aggies, 4-3 on Friday before falling to the Longhorns, 4-0, on Sunday.

Bulldogs in the rankings: The Bulldogs broke into the top-10 this week after starting SEC Play 3-1 overall with all three wins coming over top-15 opponents. One doubles pair and four singles are in the rankings this week (March 3):
