Alabama Sends 10 Swimmers to NCAA Championships
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama will send 10 swimmers to the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships, the NCAA announced Wednesday.
The Tide qualified six individuals in 10 events in addition to four relay alternates as UA advanced in all five relay events.
Alabama will look to add to its number of qualifiers as the NCAA Zone B Diving Championships gets underway March 8-11 in Athens, Ga. The NCAA Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships will be held March 18-21 in Atlanta.

Meet Notes
- Emily Jones highlights the squad, qualifying in three events with a spot in the 100 and 200 back and 100 butterfly
- Tessa Giele’s school-record 100 butterfly time of 50.55 placed her 10th, while Gaby Van Brunt’s time of 51.01 ranked her 16th and Jones’ 51.13 ranked her 22nd heading into the meet
- Additionally, Jones holds the 10th seed in the 100 back (50.59) and 21st in the 200 back (1:52.35)
- With a 21.58, Vincent is seeded 15th in the 50 free, while Giele is seeded 34th with a 21.91
- Vincent is also seeded 13th in the 100 freestyle (47.06)
- Mackenzie Brandt will make her first NCAA appearance, earning a spot in the mile with a time of 16:12.50, entering as the 29th seed
- Victoria Raymond’s career-best 1:55.93 in the 200 butterfly earned her the 31st seed in the event
