TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama women’s tennis team (10-1, 2-1 SEC) fell to No. 14 Tennessee (7-1, 3-0 SEC) in a 4-0 decision on Saturday at the Alabama Tennis Stadium.

“We conclude this week of competition with positivity. We have seven young female athletes eager to compete fiercely. We beat a very tough Kentucky team on Thursday but fell short against Tennessee today. Our team will continue to improve with each match we play. Now, we will return to practice to prepare for our upcoming road games against Texas and Texas A&M.”

• Tennessee clinched the doubles point after securing wins on courts one and three
• Three singles matches (courts one, four and five) would remain unfinished at the time the Lady Vols clinched the overall match win
• Tennessee sealed the team win with victories on courts six, two and three, respectively
