GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association placed the Gators Men’s Tennis team at No. 16 in the rankings this week. The team had two top-40 matches with Auburn and Georgia, who are both ranked in the top 20 this week, but walked away from the weekend 0-2.

There were no new individual rankings on the singles and doubles front, so the Gators still hold four ranked singles players and two ranked doubles pairings. Henry Jefferson ranks at No. 29 in singles and is ranked in two doubles pairs, coming in at No. 10 with Tanapatt Nirundorn and No. 89 with Lorenzo Claverie. Pablo Perez Ramos is still ranked at No. 41, Jeremy Jin at No. 46 and Adhithya Ganesan at No. 93 for singles heading into the matches against No. 41 Kentucky and No. 22 South Carolina this weekend.

The Gators will travel to Lexington, Ky. to play the Wildcats on their home courts Friday, Feb. 27 at 5 p.m. EST and will return home to the Alfred A. Tennis Complex to play the Gamecocks on Sunday, March 1 at noon EST.
