From Head Coach George Husack

“Another good effort for our young squad against a tough team. Proud of our Aussie pair, Brendan and Rohan, as they teamed up for the first time this season. They’ve stepped up their commitment in practice and the improvement showed today. Some good performances on other courts with a notable one in Vit Kalina. He puts forth all he has on a daily basis. Sometimes his emotions can get the best of him (like in the first set), but most of the time you get what you see – a determined and driven individual that is improving daily as a competitor.

“So a challenging weekend against a pair of top-five teams but plenty learned to take forward into next weekend. Four upcoming matches to show ourselves how we prepare in practice and respond on match day.”
