FROM THE GATORS’ MOUTHS
Head Coach Per Nilsson on the match …
“Sometimes these matches can be harder than yesterday’s [against nationally-ranked Auburn] because you’re really pumped up to play a highly-ranked team in conference, and then today the competition is not at the same level, but you still have to come out and do your job. We have windy conditions. We had a couple of people who sat because of some nagging injuries. It can be tough to go out there and get the job done, but you have to and its also awesome in that you get players in that really need some matches so it was a good day for us.”
UP NEXT
The Gators resume conference play this week when they travel to Arkansas for a Thursday, Feb 28 meeting with the Razorbacks at 6 p.m. EST.
