Gators Rank at No. 15 Following ITA National Indoors Weekend

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Gators placed at No. 15 in the nation in the ITA rankings following their weekend at the ITA National Indoors, where the team went 2-1. The Gators’ one loss came from their first-round match against then No. 6 Mississippi State, but the team bounced back with wins over then No. 16 Clemson and the ITA National Indoors host SMU.

Florida Men’s Tennis also saw some movement in the individual rankings for singles and doubles. Junior Henry Jefferson climbed the rankings from No. 50 to No. 29 after winning 3-0 in singles at ITA National Indoors. Pablo Perez Ramos, Jeremy Jin and Adhithya Ganesan all registered in the top 100 for singles, with Ramos ranking at No. 41, Jin ranking at No. 46 and Ganesan ranking at No. 93.

On the doubles side, the pairing of Jefferson and Tanapatt Nirundorn maintained their status at No. 10. Jefferson also ranked in doubles with Lorenzo Claverie at No. 89 after compiling a 3-1 record on court one for the Gators.
