Bray Finishes Eighth on 1-meter to Open SEC Championships

In prelims, the Fairfax, Virginia native posted a personal-best championship score of 354.35, finishing in third place overall. His top dive of the session came in the fourth round with a mark of 63.00.

The 2026 SEC Swimming & Diving Championships kick into full gear Tuesday with the beginning of swimming competition.
The 1,650-yard freestyle title will be decided in timed finals beginning at 11:30 a.m. EST. Freshman Kennedi Dobson ranks both second in the conference and nationally in the event (15:41.70), while fellow first year Clarke Neace is seeded fifth and senior Heidi Stalkfleet is 11th. On the men’s side, freshman Sean Green is ranked 12th, while freshman Finn Hammer and graduate Tommy-Lee Camblong will contend for scoring.
Junior Michelle Cummo will begin her events in the women’s 1-meter at noon. In the evening session, relays will begin with the 200y medley relay and 800y freestyle relay. The Georgia women hold the top seed in the 800y free relay, while the Bulldog men are seeded second in the 200 and third in the 800.
