ATLANTA – The No. 13/NR Florida State swimming and diving team continued competition on Monday afternoon with the second day of diving events at the 2026 ACC Swimming and Diving Championships at McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta.

After placing fourth in the three-meter final Sunday evening, redshirt senior Kayleigh Clark earned her second top-10 finish of the championships when she placed 10th in the one-meter preliminary round with a score of 253.15.

Sophomore Carlos Vargas led the Seminoles in the men’s 3-meter, with a 14th-place finish and a score of 337.55. Vargas improved four spots from his 2025 ACC Championships performance, where he placed 18th.

“It was a competitive day,” FSU head coach Neal Studd said. “We saw some strong efforts in prelims and will look to keep building as the week progresses.”

Florida State will compete again Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., opening the day with the platform event. The swimming portion of the championships begins Tuesday evening with the 200 medley relay and 800 medley relay.

All sessions will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra, and live results will be available throughout the week. A complete schedule and more information is available at TheACC.com.
