MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Amina Salibayeva clinched the decided point for the Alabama women’s tennis team in its 4-0 win over Minnesota (6-1) Saturday. The Crimson Tide closed out its non-conference slate undefeated (8-0) for the first time since the 2019 season.

With victories on courts one and two, Alabama claimed the doubles point to take an early 1-0 lead before earning straight-set singles wins on courts one, four and five to secure its eighth win and fifth 4-0 decision, of the year.

“The team battled well this weekend. We did well in doubles today and had good energy throughout singles. We are excited and ready for SEC play next week.”
