BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The University of Alabama placed 129 student-athletes on the 2025 Fall Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced Wednesday.

An impressive 73 student-athletes from Alabama’s 2025 College Football Playoff team were among those honored, highlighted by Jacobs Blocking Trophy (SEC’s top offensive lineman) recipient Kadyn Proctor. Proctor, an All-American alongside teammate Bray Hubbard, joined All-SEC Parker Brailsford, Deontae Lawson and Ty Simpson on the academic list.

Bowerman Award winner and U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association’s (USTFCCCA) Athlete of the Year Doris Lemngole paced a group of 20 recipients (nine males and 11 females) from Alabama’s cross country team. Dennis Kipruto and Ezekiel Pitireng also highlighted the list as USTFCCCA All-Southeast and All-SEC honorees.

Twenty-three members of the Alabama soccer team earned the honor, led by National Women’s Soccer League signees, Gianna Paul and Maddie Padelski. Additionally, 13 members of UA’s volleyball team were named to the fall honor roll, led by College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selections Sophie Agee and Lily Hopkins.

To earn a place on the honor roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.0 or better grade point average for either the preceding academic year or their career and be a sophomore or better in academic standing. The Fall SEC Academic Honor Roll is based on the 2025 spring, summer and fall terms. Additional names will be added to the Tide’s First Year Honor Roll to be announced over the summer.
