Theuerkauf Leads Georgia Past Missouri, 85-66

COLUMBIA, Mo. — Junior guard Rylie Theuerkauf scored a season-high 22 points to lead a balanced effort in Georgia’s 85-66 win at Missouri Sunday afternoon. 

 

Notable

* Georgia improves to 19-5 overall and 5-5 in the SEC, with all five losses coming to top 25 opponents.  The Lady Bulldogs are 3-2 in conference road games. 

* Theuerkauf has scored in double figures in four-straight games. Her 22-point effort on Sunday set a new Georgia career high for her. 

* Three Lady Bulldogs scored in double figures, including 16 each from Mia Woolfolk and Dani Carnegie

* The Lady Bulldogs held Missouri to just four made 3-pointers and 19 percent from behind the arc. Missouri came into the game ranked in the top 10 in 3-point shooting at 38 percent. 

* Georgia led for 36 minutes on Sunday and by as much as 19 in the fourth period.
