Bulldogs Open Competition at Auburn Invitational

AUBURN, Ala. – Five members of the University of Georgia men’s swimming and diving program opened competition at the Auburn Invitational Friday at the James E. Martin Aquatic Center.
 
Fast Facts

  • 50y Freestyle – Freshman Jayson Ross posted a new personal-best time of 19.84 in a time trial. In the main competition, Ross placed fourth with a time of 19.96. Freshman Tyler Grafmiller finished sixth with a time of 20.63, followed by fellow first year Natan Silva took seventh at 20.80.
  • 400y IM – Freshman Finn Wendland finished second with a time of 3:51.84. In time trials, he posted a time of 3:52.82.
  • 100y Butterfly – Grafmiller turned in a time of 48.45, following a fourth-place time of 50.65.
  • 200y Freestyle – Freshman Kris Mihaylov posted two times in the event, leading with a time trial time of 1:34.82 following a sixth-place time of 1:37.24. Grafmiller placed seventh with a time of 1:40.27.
