GAINESVILLE, Fla. – After a competition filled with collegiate-best marks, Florida sophomore Skye Blakely is Inside Gymnastics’ National Gymnast of the Week.
 
Blakely earned her first National Gymnast of the Week honor after equaling or setting three collegiate bests in win versus then No. 6 Arkansas last Friday. She posted a career-high 9.975 on floor exercise to capture her second consecutive floor title. Blakely also raised her balance beam best to 9.95 to share the event win with teammate Kayla DiCello and matched her uneven bars high of 9.95 to share the title with Harris-Miranda.

 
Skye Blakely – Inside Gymnastics National Gymnast of the Week:

• Won at least a share of each event competed in one of nation’s top duals of weekend, equaling or setting each collegiate best.
• Set collegiate best with meet-high 9.975 to win second consecutive floor exercise title
• Set collegiate best 9.95 to share balance beam win with teammate Kayla DiCello
• Matched collegiate best 9.95 to share uneven bars win with Selena Harris-Miranda
• Second among 2026 Gators with four event titles
• In the Feb. 2 Road to Nationals bars rankings – No. T7 in bars (9.912 average), No. T22 in beam (9.881)
• Current member of U.S. Senior National Team, winning share of 2025 Xfinity U.S. Championships uneven bars title and second in beam. Competed at third World Championships in October 2025, taking fourth in the uneven bars final.
