Softball Picked to Win the ACC; Five Noles Named to Preseason All-ACC Team
The Seminoles are coming off a 49-12 season in 2025 and finished 18-3 in ACC play on their way to their 18th ACC Regular Season Championship. FSU returns two NFCA All-Americans in Torres (First Team) and Harp (Second Team) and also returns All-ACC performers Danley and Francik in the circle. FSU brings in nine true freshmen this upcoming season, and the Noles are one of two Power Four programs (FSU and Virginia) to not have a transfer on its roster.
Beachum, Harp and Torres will look to lead the Seminoles’ offense in 2026. All three players have earned All-America honors in their career as Beachum was the 2024 NFCA National Freshman of the Year and a First Team All-American while Torres and Harp were NFCA All-Americans last season. The trio combined to hit .384 with 19 home runs and 139 RBI. Torres (.436) and Harp (.412) combined to hit .424 last season which is the second-best combined batting average (min. 150 at-bats) of any returning duo in college softball.
In the circle, Francik and Danley rose to the occasion last season as the duo led the ACC in ERA as Francik posted a 1.51 ERA and Danley posted a 1.60 ERA. Francik and Danley have the lowest combined ERA of any returning duo in Power Four.
