Quotes

Coach Katie Abrahamson-Henderson

On playing Ole Miss again…
“It was our first SEC game, eight players have never played there and coming off of Christmas. I think a lot of people play better at home than they do away, to be honest. I mean, this is the SEC so it’s intense. We only play Ole Miss twice. We don’t play anybody else twice. So we had to learn from our mistakes from the last game. We just really concentrated on the little things from the last game and tried to change those in this game.

On contribution from the bench…
“I love to have the bench. Everybody got an opportunity to play and we needed it. Last game we played, we didn’t share the ball very well, so we shared the ball a lot more. And obviously, everybody got an opportunity to score.”

On the difference in the second game against Ole Miss…
“Just everybody getting involved and just doing what we needed to do. We know everything that we needed to do, we just had to put it all together.”

On her career high game…
“It’s another game for me and I was excited for this game because I did have a bad game last game. I had to show up for my teammates, so it was more about helping my team win.”
