Gators in the NFL: Week 18

Last Updated: January 6, 2026By

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Twenty Gators locked down NFL Playoff berths following pivotal Week 18 action.

Each week of the 2025-26 season, FloridaGators.com will cover all of the best moments from the NFL stars who made a name for themselves in Gainesville.

Offense

Kyle Pitts – TE – Atlanta Falcons
Pitts capped off his bounce-back season with another solid performance. The former first-round pick hauled in six passes for 58 yards, setting a franchise record in the process.

Demarcus Robinson – WR – San Francisco 49ers
With a limited receiver core, Demarcus Robinson stepped up Saturday in San Fran. The 11-year NFL veteran notched three receptions for 24 yards, including this pivotal third-down conversion.

Defense

Shemar James – LB – Dallas Cowboys
Closing the season strong. Shemar James finished his rookie season in Dallas by stuffing the stat sheet. The fifth-round pick totaled 13 tackles, two pressures and a sack in his sixth start at middle linebacker. James led the Cowboys in tackles this season with 91.

Gervon Dexter Sr. – DT – Chicago Bears

Not a bad day in the office for Dexter, who notched his sixth sack of the season in Week 18 action. The third-year nose tackle is slated to make his NFL playoff debut Saturday as the No. 2 seed Bears clash with the No. 7-seeded Packers.

Special Teams

Chimere Dike – WR – Tennessee Titans
It’s official, Chimere Dike finished the 2025 NFL Regular Season with the most all-purpose yards. By racking up 2,427 combined rushing, receiving, punt and kick return yards, Dike set the record for all-purpose yards by a rookie and posted the most by any player since Darren Sproles in 2011.

Dike also became the 31st Gator to make a Pro Bowl, being tabbed as the AFC’s starting return specialist.

Jeremy Crawshaw – P – Denver Broncos
Another rookie standout specialist, Crawshaw, put on a show when it mattered most. Crawshaw tallied six punts for 287 yards, with only one being returned, to help the Broncos clinch the No. 1 seed for the first time since 2015.
