GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida soccer signs defender Addy Dean for the Gators fall 2026 roster.

Dean graduates a year early from high school and enrolls at Florida this summer. She’s a 2025 ECNL All-Southwest Conference first team honoree and was a key part of the San Diego Surf national U-15 title team in 2024.

“We are so excited to welcome Addy to our group,” Florida Head Coach Nick Zimmerman said. “She is an elite defender that loves to attack and get forward. She is a competitor that wants to win in everything she does! We can’t wait for her to get to Gainesville!”

“I’m so excited and honored to be a part of the Gator family,” Dean said. “Time to bring the natty back to Gainesville! Go Gators!”

Dean is the 12th newcomer to join the Gators for the 2026 season as UF signed four freshmen last month and announced the signing of six transfers this week – Tatum Borman, Charlotte Grim, Hannah Jibril, Zoe Main, Ella Petersen, Adia Symmonds and Kyra Taylor.
