Alabama Football’s Hubbard, Proctor Named AP All-Americans
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama’s Bray Hubbard and Kadyn Proctor were named All-Americans by the Associated Press, the outlet announced Monday.
Proctor was awarded second team honors, marking the second All-American recognition this season for the Alabama left tackle after he was named a First Team All-American by the Walter Camp Football Foundation on Dec. 12. Hubbard earned a spot on the AP’s third team which stands as the first All-America honors in the collegiate career of the Mississippi native.
Bray Hubbard
Safety, Junior
- A hard-hitting presence in the Alabama secondary
- Made the start at safety in all 13 games for Alabama, playing a key role in the Crimson Tide’s College Football Playoff berth
- Assisted in the Alabama defense having surrendered 17.4 points per game and 283.3 total yards per game
- Recorded 66 tackles, including three tackles for loss, to go with a team-high four interceptions, six pass breakups, three forced fumbles, one sack and a quarterback hurry
- The Mississippi native’s four interceptions entering postseason play is tied for the SEC lead and ranks 16th nationally
- Owns a 91.0 run defense grade from Pro Football Focus, the second-highest grade among SEC safeties and the fifth-highest grade at his position in the country
Kadyn Proctor
Left Tackle, Junior
- An enforcer on the outside of the Crimson Tide’s offensive line
- Started all 13 games at left tackle, helping Alabama to a berth in the 2025 College Football Playoff as the No. 9 seed
- A steady presence along the left side of a line that has allowed for the Tide offense to average 389.4 yards per game and 31.2 points per game
- Garners an 84.3 overall grade according to Pro Football Focus, the second-highest overall grade among SEC offensive tackles
- Tallied 883 total snaps at left tackle for the season, surrendering just one sack in 534 pass blocking snaps on the season
- Has not allowed a sack in 12 consecutive games since the Florida State contest
- Has also been utilized as a ball carrier, turning five carries into 16 rushing yards and three first downs
