GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Three Florida softball players – Brooke Barnard, Kendra Falby and Kara Hammock – become Gator graduates during this weekend’s University of Florida commencement ceremonies held in the Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center.

Here’s some more highlights for the fall 2025 Gator softball graduates:
All three Gators played in at least one Women’s College World Series
Falby, who played all four years of her career in Gainesville, made it to Oklahoma City as a freshman, junior and senior (2022, 2024, 2025)
Barnard, who transferred to Florida as a junior in 2024, made it to the WCWS in both seasons at Florida
Hammock, who spent her final year of eligibility in Orange & Blue, capped off her career in Oklahoma City in May
Barnard and Falby were part of Florida’s SEC Tournament Title in 2024, the sixth in program history
Falby was named the Rawlings Gold Glove Award winner in center field for the second season in a row in 2025. Her and teammate Jocelyn Erickson became just the second and third pair of repeat winners in the award’s history
Falby finished her career as a 2025 NFCA Second Team All-American and graduates as Florida’s all-time leader in runs scored (259) and second in both career hits (337) and stolen bases (118)
Both Barnard and Hammock earned Academic All-SEC honors and Hammock graduates cum laude
