Meet Guide: NCAA National Championships
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The No. 9/20 Alabama men’s and women’s cross country squads will head to Columbia, Mo., Saturday for the NCAA Championships. Located at Gans Creek Cross Country Course, the women’s 6k race will start at 9:20 a.m. CT, with the men’s 10k race beginning at 10:10 a.m.
The meet, televised live on ESPNU, marks the second time this season that the Crimson Tide will traverse host school Missouri’s course, having first competed at the Gans Creek Classic earlier this season.

The 2024 NCAA Championships – Recap
- Doris Lemngole captured her then second career national title and first in cross country
- Teammate Brenda Tuwei also earned All-America honors with her top-30 finish (29th)
- The UA women secured their third straight top-10 team finish (10th), marking five consecutive years with a top-15 team finish
- Three student-athletes on the men’s side clocked top-75 individual finishes (Dismus Lokira – 41st, Victor Kiprop – 51st, Dennis Kipruto – 75th)
- The UA men finished 18th as a team – the program’s 12th top-20 team finish at the national meet
