Mental Health Town Hall meeting planned in Freeport

Walton County – 11/20/25 – Walton County District 1 Commissioner Dan Curry is sponsoring an upcoming Mental Health Town Hall Meeting at the Freeport Community Center on December 10, from 6-8 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

Regarding this important issue, Commissioner Curry said, “I know first-hand the issues with suicide in families. I’ve seen drug addiction and the results, not only with the person, but on family and friends as well. We need to keep up with and support the efforts of these groups to ensure folks have an avenue of help and support.”
