Clark Hamilton Added to Tewaaraton Watchlist

Last Updated: March 5, 2026By

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Sophomore Attacker Clark Hamilton has been added to the Tewaaraton Watch List as a part of the first-round additions, the organization announced Thursday afternoon. Hamilton was one of 12 additions to the watch list and joins teammates Theresa Bragg, Kaitlyn Davies, and Frannie Hahn on the watch list.

The Power Springs, Ga. native leads the Gators in goals (18) and points (24), while also recording six assists, two ground balls, three caused turnovers and one draw control in five starts this season.

Earlier this season, against Loyola, she became the third player to score 11 goals in a game in program history, breaking the sophomore record for points in a game, and her seven goals in the game tied Kitty Cullen and Danielle Pavinelli for most by a sophomore in a game. After that performance she was named IWLCA National Offensive Player of the Week on Feb. 24 and earned Big 12 Attack of the Week on Feb. 25.

Hamilton becomes the 25th player to earn a Tewaaraton nomination and becomes the 51st nomination of a Florida Lacrosse player. 18 players have earned 23 top-25 recognitions and four players have earned five finalist honors. This is the first time since 2023 that Florida has had four players on the watch list (Emily Heller, Danielle Pavinelli, Emma LoPinto and Sarah Reznick).

The Tewaaraton honors the most outstanding male and female players in the sport, and is lacrosse’s most prestigious award. The selection committees are made up of premier collegiate coaches and are appointed annually by the Tewaaraton Foundation. There will be another round of watch list additions on March 26 before the field is narrowed to 25. The five finalists will be named in early May and the finalists will be honored and recipients announced on May 28 after the conclusion of the collegiate lacrosse season.
