Florida Women Qualify 10 Swimmers for 2026 NCAA Championships
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The 10th-ranked Florida women’s swimming and diving program qualified 10 swimmers for the 2026 NCAA Division I Championships, the program announced Wednesday.
The four-day competition will be hosted by Georgia Institute of Technology at the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Georgia from March 18-21.
Florida’s Beatriz Bezerra, Anita Bottazzo, Julie Brousseau, Catie Choate, Camille DeBoer, Lainy Kruger, Michaela Mattes, Molly Mayne, Grace Rabb and JoJo Ramey will represent Florida in 19 events at this year’s championships.
The Gators also qualified three relays, with the 200 medley relay, 400 medley relay and the 800 free relay all hitting the qualifying standard.
Eight of Florida’s 10 qualifiers bring NCAA Championships experience, while freshmen Bezerra and Rabb are set to make their NCAA debuts. Seven of the swimmers were part of last year’s sixth-place team in Federal Way, Wash., which saw 11 Gators earn 17 All-American honors.
Florida’s 10 qualifiers match Michigan and Ohio State, while Virginia, the five-time reigning national champions, leads the way with 18. Stanford (16), Texas (15), Cal (14) and Tennessee (11) round out the top five programs with the most qualifiers.
Divers will be determined by performances achieved at the Zone B Diving Championships held March 8-11 at Gabrielsen Natatorium in Athens, Ga., with selected divers being announced on Thursday, March 12.
A total of 322 participants (281 swimmers and 41 divers) will compete in the championships. Swimmers qualified for the championships either by winning their conference championship in an event with an established minimum time in that swim or by meeting the established minimum time for the events in which they entered. The complete lists of all swimmers (athletes by institution, official psych sheet, relays and alternates) competing in the championships is available at usaswimming.org/ncaa.
ESPN+ will provide live digital coverage for preliminary and finals sessions Wednesday through Saturday. Tape-delayed coverage of the women’s championships will be on ESPNU at 9 p.m. Eastern time, Wednesday, March 25.
